I do dry hatch until lockdown then I do add some..

Same way we did this batch, no water till lockdown. The first hatch is a noisy thing, doesn't like being alone.

Today will be a day full of weeding and the HS FFA plant sale, then planting them tomorrow and then I should be done! picked my first two asparagus spears last night! excited for them with my eggs this morning!

I was thinking of stopping by the garden store just to look. I don't have any room for anything else. But we all know how that will go! I could actually use another rosemary plant.

So feeding tomatoes...I have bone meal and worm castings. How do I mix that into dirt without messing up roots?
Or do I need to get fish emulsion for adding to water?

Ideally, the bone meal and worm castings should have been mixed in with the dirt you filled the holes with, but don't worry about that. File that away for next year!

Sprinkle that stuff on the soil around the plants now. Mix the fish emulsion with the water, and water the plants. Any time you water or it rains, it'll soak the bone meal and worm castings down in.

Are these a type of aphid? Soft bodied, They are covering a ninebark. What do I kill them with? Neem oil?

I would try a little dish soap and water mixture and spray them with that.

If their aphids (no idea) see if you can get ladybugs, they’ll take care of them!
