We used it on our youngest AFTER she got it, dried it out, helped it heal and gave relief. We got it at WalMart

Did you guys know that the antidote for poison ivy grows nearby it? Unfortunately, I don’t remember what it looks like anymore. It’s been about 30 years since I used it.
The laundry soap, Fels-Naptha, is good at drying up the poison ivy hives.

I must be fairly lucky as even pulling it up by hand I have never reacted to poison ivy. Now whatever the dog got into last year? THAT I had a reaction to. It took weeks even with the steroid. Jewelweed didnt help. I assume it was poison oak? But no idea so I cant be certain what to avoid.

Good info on the poison ivy!

I fed everything with fish emulsion yesterday, still stinks out there. My sungold tomatoes have shipped. I may still have to replace the brandywines that showed up a few weeks ago, they aren't growing at all. No more ordering online.

So I'm redoing the kitchen, first batch of cabinets 5 out of 11 were smashed. Reshipment came yesterday, 3 out of 5 smashed. They didn't even have them strapped down in the truck, they had fallen off the top row onto the floor, straps hanging on the sides of the truck, unused. DH can't even start putting them in as one of the smashed ones is the first one to have to go in. So I'm living like a homeless person now with no end in sight.

I'm off to my hippie fest this weekend, y'all be good & play in the dirt!
