What did you do in the garden today?

Not sure what is happening with my pickling cucumbers. They were beautiful green and growing well. In the last 2 days, they look like this.... Ideas?
I'd start more seeds just in case. They say yellow leaves are caused by magnesium deficiency, but it could also be a disease......................I can't grow cucumbers on the left side of my house, but I can grow them on the right side. On the left side of my house, its windy and it gets morning sun until the sun passes over the roof and lights up the other side of my house. There is more sun light hours on the right side of my house. My cucumbers on the left side of my house start off strong, but it gets sick latter on. It also has something to do with the month or season I plant them. Because the location of the sun rise changes the amount of sun light my plants get.

I can grow lettuce on the left side, but not the right side. The sun is too strong on the right side for my lettuce to grow unless I cover it with shade cloth.

Took a snap of this beauty today. I think I'll make a mini trellis for it to live on. My cucumber-labeled-as-a-tomato is quickly outgrowing its space!

The potatoes are sprouting, which is exciting because they are a new experiment. Forgot about some potatoes I had in the pantry, found they had all sprouted eyes! So I decided to see if they'd grow.

The sunflowers have sprouted too!

I need to dig out the grass around my front flower bed. Poor thing is getting buried.

I got 28 tomato plants into the ground today. When I read that, it sounds insignificant. But that soil is heavy, and I plant them deep. 32 to go tomorrow, and then 5 cherry tomatoes in the sandy soil garden. That will be a piece of cake by comparison.

I'm growing several varieties I've never grown before. Amish Paste is my standard. I have 5 Cherokee Purple from a friend's saved seeds. (Let's hope they do better this year than last.) The new ones are Italian Heirloom, Hungarian Heart, Wisconsin Chief, and Mortgage Lifter. I'll let everyone know how they do in 80-90 days. :)

I'm putting a scoop of bunny poop, covered by some thatch, under each plant. Then putting thatch around the soil from the pot, and then some of the heavy soil crumbled up over the thatch. Water well, move on to the next. I have them in groups of 4 around each of the chunks of apple trunk I buried ala hugelkulter.

Is anyone able to identify this plant for me? I spotted it growing last year and cut it down to the ground. It's obviously back. It might be some kind of tree? I loathe and despise the bushes that are currently in that location so I am 100% ok with taking out the bushes and letting the tree (if that's what it is) grow. I really don't know anything about growing trees through. Is it too close to the house? I don't want there to be any damage to the foundation. It's hard to get a good picture because of where it is but I tried.

Can I just say how much I LOVE the new poop boards without sounding like a weirdo??? 😂😂😂

On another note.... I HAVE A VERY IMPORTANT REQUEST.... If you are ever kidnapped by an extraterrestrial and taken aboard their ship, for God's sake, steal something to bring back with you.... Famous words from Michio Kaku.... 😂😂😂

No, I haven't been drinking.... 😜
