What did you do in the garden today?

Im pretty sure thats my issue.
Its just boggling my mind how its just the paste type from Bonnie and none of the others. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I dont know how to test my soil. I have seen the “pills” in the stores as well as the meter, not for moisture, but I have no clue how to go about it. Yes, i can read instructions, but am not sure how accurate these are. And for what they charge? ..... 😕
I sent my samples in to the local agricultural dept (at UConn). It was like 10 bucks or something, not bad. Definitely worth doing. I just had to collect like a cup worth of dirt, put it in a ziplock & mail it in & they emailed me the results.

Similar to others, I take about 4 cups of soil in a baggie to our local extension office. They test my soil for free and email me the report.

LOL, well not now! But could have been when the flowers were developing. Or just an incomplete pollination. I know we get that here when it's too humid for the flowers to self pollinate.
That would probably explain why I have so many blossoms that aren't producing a tomatoe...too hot and humid.
I think a shade cloth would be too late at this point plus they are over 6' tall!

Just stopping in to wish you all a great weekend! We have won the grass battle and baking soda spray took decent care of the two plants with powdery mildew(thank you!). My mom just started a garden this year...I'm super proud of her going from almost completely sedentary and processed food lifestyle to eating mostly fresh and from the garden! She is in central Indiana and just pulled these beans from her garden! All my bean were flattened by a hound who thought they looked like the perfect nap spot 🤦🏻‍♀️

One year temps here were not ideal for flower fertilization and BER was also causing quite a bit of trouble. I bought “tomato blossom spray” which has calcium. I followed directions and did get some good sets! I saw some in my farm store recently.

I'm going to have to see if I can find that spray! I've got billions if blosoms and then blah nothing they dry up and fall off
