What did you do in the garden today?

OMGeeze...we could be twinkies...between the geographic areas we live in and weather issues and health problems!
I have same with my elbow and now Achilles as well! My rheumatologist sent me to make sure it wasn't "mechanical" and they said that dang tendinitis word...again.
Very frustrating!
I sure hope you get relief soon!
Thanks... I'm resigned to being pretty miserable today. I took a long nap earlier which helped. Been binge watching television from my bedroom the rest of the day. Bored to tears and would rather be outside but movement is excruciating right now. Hoping I can stand on it tomorrow because I need to spray that fresh wound on peach tree with copper sulfate. Then there's the chickens... No one cares for them quite like I do. I'm a bad patient... I hate being cooped up. (Catch the pun?) If these injections don't work, the next step is stem cell therapy.

I'm so sorry! Pain stinks big time! It literally sucks the life right out of you!
I pray it does work for you!

I couldn’t work without internet so ran errands and had a look around the neighborhood. We had to go out of our way a bit to go to a couple of places within a mile of home; a couple of major intersections around us are closed due to downed power lines. A metal light pole was snapped off and leaning against a tree. You read that right, metal. There’s stuff blown all over the neighborhood since people put their trash out last night. It’s a mess out there.

I had a chance to examine the mesquite tree. The roots didn’t come out of the ground, they’re literally snapped off like someone breaking a carrot in half. One of the Mexican birds of paradise looks like it was twisted at the base and snapped. The other looks like something heavy landed on it. Some of metal stakes I attached shade cloth to for the fruit trees are bent at ground level and the shade cloth is sagging. Tomorrow will be some clean up, more rain headed our way now.

Was going to go into town and get another allergy shot. Have to take an antihistimine before I go, their recommendation. Guess who had an allergic reaction to a child's dose of claritin today. UGH.
JUST ONCE I'd like to take medicine and me NOT react to it.
I also now have a scratchy squeaky voice. ARGH.
15 pounds of tomatoes in the kitchen
I can't find Clifford, he's either hiding or has been eaten by a sparrow.

There are other green demons out there, I see the poo, can't find them. Might have to go hunting tonight.

I'll be getting a 1 yo roo soon. I was planning to section off part of the coop and run for a "look, don't touch," period, say, 3-5 days? Or can I just put him in the coop the evening I get him and see how it goes? I've heard adding a roo to a hen flock is the easiest integration to do, but I want to do it right and not take chances.

I'm having that issue with my butternuts. I think I've had 5? 6? female flowers. I'm thinking it's due to the heat, but I'm not sure.
Yep, you got it. No touchy for a couple days, then observed play dates and see how it goes. Maybe lock ups when not observed. Then free for all love fest.

Today I stared at the orange tomatoes. :drool I have to find the packet for these. Whatever they are, I want to plant them again! They are big and meaty. I was surprised by how the one I ate was just all tomato, and so firm. I can’t explain it! Also, I didn’t see many seeds. Unfortunate for saving seeds if the others are low on seeds, but great for sauces.

My amber tomatoes are low seed as well, but I'm saving the crap out of them!!!
Saving your seed is so easy, just pull what you can from each tomato. You don't need many for next year.
