What did you do in the garden today?

Because it doesn't mean what people THINK it means. It's not a chance %, odds, of getting rain that day. Rather it is a historic %. It takes into account patterns past that are similar to the one you will be experiencing that day and gives you THOSE odds for seeing rain on any given day.
So if they say 40% chance of rain, it means that 40% of the time in the past when situations were similar, it rained.

I put the TV on the entertainment center /fireplace . Lots of trouble with the antenna reception . One of those small RCA indoor types . Has always been touchy . So after much aggravation I determined the signal booster went bad . So I went to the hardware and bought a new RCA signal booster - a larger one . Works much better than then small one . So it seems the booster that comes with the antenna is not very good . I have another antenna that is touchy . I will replace that booster also . Maybe this information will help someone .

Came across this chicknic table on Etsy. You can get it in various colors and wood stains... I love this! 😍

Having my husband here to help made pounding in the support stakes, putting up the trellis, and tying up the tomatoes MUCH easier and quicker!
Before (most of the vines and tomatoes were in a pile on the ground due to the support being structurally unsound because of moles):

After (added two support posts for the main trellis pole, and added a center trellis pole):

SO much better! I have a pathway again! Is anyone else already dreaming about next year's garden?

I built this out of scrap wood. The chickens couldn't care less. But the one you pictured shows the top being more of a tray to hold goodies. I might put a lip on this and see if they like it better.

Oh yeah. Planning, anyway:

Not planting butternut squash.
Using a LOT more mulch.
Burying compost in the garden, so it can RIP (Rot In Place).
Moving the garlic and onions to a different location.
Getting my soil tested in different areas.
:fl for my first cherry crop.

50% chance here is like 0%, I only take it seriously if it says 80%.
Same here We were way behind in yearly rainfall until a couple weeks ago. We've had 7"+ since then. So Startin to catch up. But it is still soakin in and I had to water the other day as no rain for a few days and top few inches of soil was startin to get dry again.
