What did you do in the garden today?

I planted seeds 6 days ago. Already much is sprouting... cucumber, cabbage, kale, lettuce, marigolds... all showing tiny green leaves. Cucumbers are especially big for such a short time.

Rather excited since it's my first "real" garden since we've lived in AZ.
Good luck, they look great so far.

Well the little papaya took a slight frost hit, we'll see what the damage is here in a few days.
The big ones I pushed right upside the roll down garage door and left it cracked a bit that way some cold air would seep into the garage pushing the warm air up out of the garage and right into the leaves of the trees.. at least I hoped.. seems it DID work and I don't think th ey are harmed. The banana should be good. This took down a lot of my stuff out in the totes, which is good, I do need to kill it off chop it down and then turn them over and add more stuffz to stew until spring.

Dodged a bullet with this frost but am thinking I need to just plan on spending the rest of this week cleaning the garage out / whatever out to start housing my delicate plants for their over wintering. biggest problem, last year they were about as tall as me, now, some of them are 12 foot tall, not as easy to shove into a corner.

OK, fellow gardeners.... Informal poll here. Would you put out fall seed for the pasture this weekend? Yes or no? Extended forecast below... But remember that we've had a severe, prolonged drought since June. It DID rain an inch last week so the grass is SLOWLY coming back but hindered by the cold weather. The grass seed I'll be putting out are cool weather grasses (rye grass, Timothy, orchard, alfalfa, etc).
