What did you do in the garden today?

I had to thin out my lettuce since they were getting over crowded and growing around each other. Going to be planting my next round of seeds today

Hello gardeners! Here’s what I’ve got planted so far: asparagus, 3 kinds of bunching onions, cabbage, cantaloupe, 2 kinds of cucumber, a bunch of miscellaneous herbs, 3 kinds of pepper (2 spicy/1 sweet), strawberries, some kind of funky round white squash, 2 kinds of tomatoes, old flower seeds from last year and I’m probably forgetting what else…

Hey all. @WthrLady northern lights are still on my bucket list! Ewww on the skunk. I had a dog get sprayed once, that was AWFUL. It smells different up close than just smelling it in the neighborhood. Much, much worse.

We got about 6 inches of snow. Course just in time for DH to be leaving for a month. He has shoveled paths to the coop & shed so hopefully it melts enough in the next 3 days that I can get out there. If not my wonderful neighbor will be tending chickens.

I give up on spinach in the aerogarden. The only thing that sprouted was a bug. Weird because the little cup was over it so I have no idea how it got in there. The buttercrunch lettuce is producing really well tho!

I have a cannoli tart in the oven, I hope it does ok without a waterbath, it would have been over my 5 lb weight limit. Smells great though! & I don’t care if the top cracks.

I think you need a heat mat and humidity dome/seed starter........

Hi there--here in Central Florida - forecast high 80's today -may be 90 tomorrow! I weeded quite a bit...everything is sprouting, tomatoes, zuchini, cucumbers, carrots, watermelon, bunching onions...its glorious--i hope i can keep uo w the weeds

Wow, that’s a long time to be home alone! I hope the snow isn’t too bad. Stay warm and cozy!

We're thawing out and melting the snow/ice we got in the last week or so. More snow on the way for Friday.

We got together with some friends at the Meijer Gardens where they have just opened their Butterflies are Blooming exhibit. Beautiful! I announced to my hubby that I am offically "over" winter now, after seeing all the orchids and lovely growing things, with butterflies flitting among them. All that color made my eyes happy.

I have all that, I can’t do a garden this summer because of the back surgery so all I have is the aerogarden!

I got 50 new pots of seeds. Those are just the starter pots. I'm going to go in the shed and grab bigger pots so I can do some radishes and more carrots. Melons if I'm lucky
