Picked a couple giant zucchini squash and about 5 pounds of tomatoes. I've been neglecting my garden lately because of having problems with my well. I should have water in the house tomorrow, so all's good now.

I trust amazon, I buy most of my stuff from them. Most of my bad experiences are from companies that promote their products on youtube. Most of them turn out to be gimicks or traps. Now that I think about it the shady companies all used paypal. I don't trust paypal.

Another place I don't trust are the ads on Facebook. Once ordered a greenhouse, some guy in China got my $ and even though I had a tracking # that said it was delivered by UPS, I never received it. UPS won't let the customer find out where it got delivered.

I mowed down an area for a winter garden of greens to share with the chickens. Mostly mustard and turnips. If they get to buggy for us to eat the chickens will like them even more.

Me too, it looked so trustworthy, over 200 good ratings, high quality whatever, then when I ordered I got a cheap plastic bag from China!!! Thank God I paid per Paypal, of course I contacted them at once and said it was garbage, never heard back, went to facebook and gave them a bad rating, never heard back, contacted paypal, they said first to contact the seller, I did, never heard back. Then after 30 days or so I told paypal I wanted them to give me back my money, they then contacted the seller, he finally replied and said I was too late, so the sale was ok. Then I sent them to copy of my e mail, then they said to send it back! I said the postage to china is higher than what that thing is worth, and it would have been on me, so no. Paypal contacted me, why am I not sending it back? I told them the advertisement said it had been made in my country ( not China!) and sending it back would cost more than it was worth. Then paypal wanted a copy of all my actions, and if course pictures of what I had gotten , including the Facebook ad , thank God I had made screenshots from everything, including someone else who had been scammed by then, replying to my bad rating ( of course it had been buried under 200 new good “ratings”) in the end, I got my money back and was allowed to keep the purchase ( it was a brush fir dog hair, supposed to work better than anything else, I had bought a 2. one for a friend who also has a dog) I finally tossed them, my first impulse after getting them had been to toss them, but some instinct told me to keep a hold of them

I watered my home garden and worked some on continuing cleaning up the branches from the downed huge branch(a month ago? ).
Got interrupted by having to deal with a very grumpy, tired 5 year old Grandson who was getting mean.
When my daughter -in-law got home from work I headed up to the hospital to see my husband. He and I don’t think he will get to come home until Wednesday but we don’t know for sure. He has an infection in the soft tissue of his foot/ankle. It had spread all the way up to his knee. They have him on IV antibiotics. But now his entire leg is swelling a lot!
I did see some cherry tomatoes that need picking and I need to get to the church garden because I’m sure there are slicing tomatoes ready there.
Edited to add: we got some unexpected rain tonight too!
