What did you do in the garden today?

That is super cool. I’m gonna have to try it, first, I need someone who holds a blue container like that.
I know you probably have different rules in your country but in the US these food grade barrels are cheap & easy to obtain since the FDA mandates a one time use. I can buy them on Craigslist locally for $20/barrel. There are reusable lids for them too but I don't use the lids. Here's a few pictures below of the inside when I was putting them together.

I got the black currant planted, and I think there's room to put another one in the same bed. I guess 4 or 5 foot spacing would be adequate???

My winter kale crop is doing great, but I don't know if the Brussel's sprouts at the other end of the bed will do anything now that it's getting colder. Supposed to be getting below freezing overnight the next couple of days.

Sewed for the morning but the afternoon was spent doing last minute before the cold settles in stuff.
Checked the fluids and hook-ups on the tractor.
Hooked up the snow blade, can't find the top pin, but improvised until I can get to the shop and get another.
Has a low tire which DH is topping off for me atm.
Took down the purple martin houses, but didn't clean. I'll do that AFTER we freeze hard for a few night.
Winter door on the hen house so they can have warm light but no wind on nicer days.
Fixed their treat dispenser.
Added a bag of pine shavings to the run.
Cleaned their camera.
Tried to get the hose manifold off the shop faucet, couldn't, despite teflon tape in the Spring. Opened the valves and covered it.
Tried to get the hose reel off the other end of the barn hose, couldn't, despite teflon tape there too. Hacked off the hose. I'll repair it in the spring.

Came in from the fog with Merida hair. LOL!
Now I need to figure out dinner. UGH.

Forgot to mention that I drained my three garden hoses, rolled them up and put them away in the shop. Won't be watering the garden till next year.
