We moved all the peppers into the house in anticipation for 31 degree temperatures (almost unheard of in Florida this early). I covered what I could but our garden is probably toast.

Thank you! What fun, lucky you! That's a great age!
They had to add mouse and feathers to my shot series (and have upped my ragweed), those start next week. SO 4 shots a week. UGH. I am a pincushion at this point.G’morning gardeners. @WthrLady I love that quilt! So glad it ended up with someone who will love it. @Sueby hope the Dahlia is ok. We are in the 50’s this morning, I opened the doors and windows already. I haven’t been outside much this week except to water a little bit. It has been breezy and my allergies are stronger than my antihistamines. I tried adding some Claritin as a secondary but so far it hasn’t done much. Today should be calmer so hopefully I can paint some pickets and get a few things done out there.
We always snapped to below freezing in early November outside Pensacola, then it would warm back up to lovely before fire season started in full force. We moved all the peppers into the house in anticipation for 31 degree temperatures (almost unheard of in Florida this early). My allergist wanted to do dogs and cats. I’m like listen, I am exposed to dogs always and cats never. Let’s do feathers and all the plants ok? I don’t go for shots, it’s not something I could work into my schedule at the time because of work. They had to add mouse and feathers to my shot series (and have upped my ragweed), those start next week. I asked why feather and mouse were in the series to start with. They said that people don't come into contact with them that often. UM ...did you MISS the part where I have a small ranch, raise chickens, and am CONSTANTLY trapping and cleaning up after rodents?! Good Grief.
This guy uses half strength of hydroponic fertilizer until the first flower and then switches to full strength. I tried this method and it worked, but its labor intensive. I used a planter base and filled it once in the morning, it gets absorbed by end of day.Good morning. I'm hoping to try something similar but not with a large variety like he has. The kratky out front and one in the yard I believe might have the cherry varieties or at least I hope. The big tomato in one of the barrels looks like it's starting to flower up. I have hope for it but I reckon the rats do as well.
We have a ham in the crockpot. We like the shank portion because it is smaller. I like the fat and skin. Fat is flavor. I do not believe fat is bad. My arteries have been checked and are clear.
