It sounds like a good candidate for me, I will def plant it.As others have said, it's an annual but reseeds very freely. The seeds are large so they don't pop up too far from the parent plant. I planted it years ago when we first moved in and we have plenty growing here and there. It's one of the first things to bloom in the early spring and it attracts honey bees like crazy so I let grow anywhere it wants to. I've never had any problem with sick critters and the hens get the plants when I thin them out in the spring. I give the young tips to the rabbits as well so maybe just good luck on my part. I also use borage for compost/green tea, that and comfrey are my go to natural fertilizers.
I hear ya, same here! We are redoing our roof, right now it's all plywood & sprinkling.

Wow, that happened so fast!All the tomatoes are now up 1-1.5 inches.
I got another GreenStalk filled yesterday, one more to go. I'd like to start some radishes & carrots out there - just so much to do. At least the weather looks like it will cooperate this week.
