I watered a little and pruned the lower branches off the tomatoes.
I mowed and then we walked the pastures, pulling buffalo burr.

Yes, it's painful. I just planted the seed potatoes in mid to late April so I doubt they are even close to ready.

We're back on keto. I live keto most of the time but took a month break last month. I went from 192 to 132 over a year. Before I had my son. After him I got to 170, now I'm hanging out at about 134. I work out a lot now, when I don't have something wrong with me... Which has been a lot recently. I feel like every time I get back into working out, something happens and I have to take it easy... It's frustrating.

In CA I don't think a flame thrower would be a good idea due to the drought but I am still trying to figure out how to get rid of the weeds without chemicals. I haven't tried to save zinnia seeds but I don't have a problem growing them, of course that could be the zone I am in.

Yup.... Fire season is going to be brutal this year.

Me too old seeds ! I had 3 plants out of 12! I replanted with 3-4 seeds in holes. A few more came up and at least they're all gone now. I only had 1 out of 7 pole beans come up. !

I have had trouble with my bush beans as well. I'm going to go all out and plant a ton this weekend.

wow, our baby skunks were musky smelling and came fully armed. But they were just over a week old.

We handled all 5 to give them a little bit of sugar water and electrolytes since they've been 5 days without momma. None of them smelled even the slightest bit musky. But when we took the last 2 to the rehab, one of the babies was inconsolable. He cried the entire 30 minute ride there and kept trying to crawl up into my daughter's hair. While we never smelled anything musky in the car, my daughter said her hands were smelling a bit musky from holding him. That was a first because we both were checking our hands and clothing for smell earlier as we were handling them and got nothing.

I mixed some fine gravel with compost for my sage starts and got them up-potted.

I found some BOSS. I'll give them a chance. a friend of mine helped me water a few trees that I still need to put an irrigation line. I hope someone will come on sunday to do a plumbing job. there is no water near at the moment.
