I ordered from Temu, once. Never again. No problems with my card (yet? this was 8 months ago), but ENDLESS emails. I tried to unsubscribe, and that failed. Hubby finally told me what to do, and I forgot what that was.

I'm to the point that if I can't buy it in the stores, I seriously think of doing without, unless I know the company. I hate Amazon. Hate them.
I do use Amazon, but check prices for sure. I look there, but check stores here before ordering. Not my favorite place, but sometimes that’s the only place I can find things, or I do find them cheaper on occasion.

Our power was off for about 3 hours this morning. We got clipped by a big storm that rolled through; we didn't get the hail or 70-80 mph winds. We did get an inch of rain, and the ground soaked it right up.
Yay for rain!

I order a lot from Amazon but I do check to see if it’s available locally first. Walmart here is pretty good and they have same day delivery or pick up in the store or parking lot. They’re working to compete with Amazon. Brick and mortar stores are not great around here unfortunately. I do miss going into a store to look for clothing.

Well, I only got 3 peaches from my tree out of the dozens of fruit just a few months ago. All 3 were so wormy, there was no using them for anything other than chicken fodder. I gotta figure out a way past the worms. I sprayed religiously this year and it made zero difference.

In the process of canning what tomatoes I've collected so far. Got 4 quarts full and probably another 3-4 to go.

I mentioned before that I have a San Marzano that's struggling with blossom end rot. None of the tomatoes around it have this problem. I've treated with bone meal several times now. Picked off most of the fruit since it was clearly ruined. However I had a small bit of fruit from early in the season which looked OK. No hint of BER from the outside of the tomato. But when I was processing them I discovered rot deep inside. 🤢. Chucked all of them out.

My doctor is fantastic, but she doesn’t always know what’s going on. She’s not a pill pusher and most of her patients are elderly so she always offers options and knows her stuff. I have found that the specialists don’t s nd anything to her even though they say they will, so I have to tell her that I went to the audiologist or the dermatologist. She says they didn’t notify her, gets their info and requests records. The next time I’m there she has the records. So I don’t think it’s always the docs fault. That being said, I have her then maintain my prescriptions for whatever she can and don’t go back to the specialist.
Most doctors these days have become handcuffed by insurance companies. They are either a slave to the pharmaceutical industry or to insurance companies. Both have more sway in your treatment than your actual doctor does... Honestly I try not to go to the doctor at all unless it's something super serious. I've just lost all trust and faith in the medical community in the past 10 years. I do better treating myself holistically than they ever have...

I also hate Amazon. Cheap Chinese crap that isn't worth half of what you pay for it. It's extremely difficult to find any high quality products on there anymore and even harder to find Made in America products. I do still order from Amazon occasionally but only when I'm absolutely looking for cheap, disposable temporary stuff.

I bought 3 more blueberries and planted them but one isn't doing very well. I'm still working on getting the soil to the right acidity for all my blueberries. :barnie
I'm jealous... I had 7 blueberry bushes and all died except for one. That one is now 4 ft tall by 5 ft in diameter. Big, bushy, healthy. And not a single damn blueberry on it yet... Even though it's 4 yrs old. :barnie

About 2 yrs ago I picked up a Pink Lemonade blueberry from the clearance rack at Lowe's. Planted it in a big mineral tub. It has actually produced 2 crops of berries already even though it's not very big. Once this heat dies down a bit, I'm going to transplant it into the ground so it has more room to grow. Maybe show the other slacker blueberry how to get it's $h*to together.
