What did you do in the garden today?

Lucky you, wherever you are located to put them in the ground. I have to bring my pot inside for the cold months.
There are a lot of insects in the tropics that would probably die and become extinct if it snowed, so there are advantages and disadvantages. I can only grow a handful of things that the insects don't bother like ginger, basil, green onions, coriander, American parsley, Malabar spinach just to name a few. I need to spray an insecticide or soap on other vegetables like corn, tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, okra, melons, etc. I also, got to contend with those annoying fruit flies........ :wee

Not yet... I was too busy over the holiday weekend. I did look at it briefly this morning to see a lot more seeds have sprouted. Soil is still moist and it's supposed to rain tomorrow so I probably won't have to water again until later this weekend. I definitely want to disassemble it and make sure none of the water reservoirs somehow shifted or became misaligned with the center spout. It's just weird that it was all draining out the bottom right away instead of filling the reservoirs. Not sure where it was draining from...
Yes, that is weird. Glad you have sprouting 👍

Health code violations all around. She should have washed or changed gloves, for sure. DH dings food establishments for that crap all the time.

I think the most astonishing one he told me about was a food truck who was washing dishes out back with a trash can and a hose... 🙄
If it was a clean trash can I wouldn’t have an issue with that. No different than a wash tub in the sink. Kinda like when I was dishes while camping.

Everywhere I went today, people were behaving very badly, tempers were off the charts, road rage was nuts today.
By the time I got home my anxiety was creepy off the charts. I'm about ready to sit in a corner and suck my thumb.
Days like that are hard on my Quaker sensibilities.
And to top it all off, my always moody bike mechanic went off on me this morning. I left feeling like it was all my fault, but the owner told me he's just always like that. I was almost to tears (came from a verbally abusive home, and I'm not used to being treated like crap and it's always was my fault, IYKWIM.)
I told the owner that if the mechanic can't deal with customers, then he needs to shut the repair office door and always have a go between, because that was NOT COOL.
Then there was a guy that went nuts (not on me) at the grocery lot.
And a guy they were two seconds from calling the cops on next to me in line at Costco.
Breathe, breathe......
Hummies are on the move, so feeders are full and fresh each morning.
I gave away 5 pounds of tomatoes this morning.
Other than that, it's just watching Fall sneaking in.
I think that grumpiness is in the water. I went to the gas station and had to go inside. The clerk was hassling a homeless guy to get what he wanted and get out. The customers were yelling at her about how rude she was. A guy and his passenger were fighting in the car, verbal, and the driver left without taking the hose out of the fill neck and made a huge mess. That really made
the clerk mad. I noticed there was a help wanted sign on the door, I don’t wonder why.

I got 2 mislabeled plants this year as bare root from a big box store. 1 was an orange garden Phlox. Was not orange when it bloomed. Nice color but not orange. The other was a bag of Tiger lilies. One was a different kind of Lilly.
I had something similar happen. Bought some toad lilies and was super excited when I saw the new growth coming up. Started to have my doubts by the time the plants were 2ft tall. Let them bloom and wouldn’t you know it they were golden rods, the ever so common roadside wild flower. Bad thing is they sent out runners and I’ll have to pull more than I planted.
