I'll continue to weed and move leaves around in the gardens. Lovely sunny day ahead!

I sure do feel a lot more energetic on sunny days. Sleep better when I go to bed, too. I'm sure all the exercise helps with that.

I worked on the asparagus bed yesterday. It still needs some repairs and a bit more cleaning but the worst of the work is over. I put low hoops over and covered that with multiple layers of bug netting. Good thing because I woke up to this, this morning.

About 5 inches of the heavy wet stuff. Only gardening today was shoveling. Wah!

Got my determinate tomatoes planted and a couple of marigold and paper daisy starts in the ground.

Working on putting the new grape trellis up today.

Need to work on fixing the irrigation lines and getting my in-ground stuff planted this weekend. Not enough hands and my body is old so I guess it'll happen when it happens.

All three varieties of my saved tomato seeds are germinating. I'm shooting for growing about a dozen each of the Yellow Krim and Dwarf Romas in the garden, and maybe eighteen of the Giant Romas.

The Yellow Krim and Dwarf Roma tomatoes I grew last year were both oddballs from commercial seed packets. Either mutations, accidentally cross pollinated or different varieties accidently included in the packages. The Giant Roma was a volunteer plant that grew well and made nice fruits.

If they produce the same types of fruit they made last year I'll save seeds from the best of this year's tomatoes. The goal for the next few years is to cultivate my own varieties that grow well in my specific microclimate. Should be a fun project.

I'll need to get those Baby Bok Choi plants transplanted soon.

Bought all the plants I tried to grow.

I got the cattle panel fence back up around the two lavender beds before Tony dog kills it all with Mr Ball. Now I am going to work on my compost bins.

For once it isn’t snowing or raining. I was able to start raking out the leaves and such from the flower beds. Felt like I was tempting fate though uncovering the new plant growth….
