Well, the things I'm learning about bagging fruit...
1. Don't waste your time trying to bag tiny peaches because most of them will drop anyway. Wait until they are golf ball size at least before choosing what to bag and thin around it. (Note, this lesson learned is still subject to further tweaking...)
2. Contrary to what YouTubers tell you, nylon pantyhose are useless for bagging fruit. Bugs simply eat through them.
I bit the bullet and bought some Clemson peach bags. Put a couple on tonight but it's about to storm so the rest will have to wait until tomorrow. I've heard good and bad things about using them. I'm sure I will learn from my own experience trying them....
Wondering how many peaches I'm going to lose yet from the notorious June drop...
I'm probably going to start bagging grapes soon too.... I'll do those with brown lunch bags and a stapler.
