So ...I was one panel short the year I put up the cattle panels. So I grabbed a remesh from the barn. It lasted ONE season. It got rusty to the point of being a tetanus hazard, and got SHARP, NOT cool for something you have to reach into to prune and harvest things. And wasn't has hearty as the panels. It wanted to wobble and wibble. I replaced it the following spring. It’s steel panels that get put down in concrete
That’s a good point I’ve noticed they are a lot of times rusty even in the stores when walking by them.So ...I was one panel short the year I put up the cattle panels. JUST a thought.
We had to put up the little white fencing on the bottom to keep the cats and ducks out of them while they grow.We made cattle panel tomato cages with wire. You can cut them with bolt cutters.
My tomatoes are crazy and misbehave. They still will not stay within the panels.

I prune like mad, or I'd never keep mine in some kind of control. Alpaca manure is magic beans! We made cattle panel tomato cages with wire. You can cut them with bolt cutters.

You know, like the mesh version of rebar. Reinforcing mesh for concrete. What is remesh?
I have remesh that's old, old, old and yeah, it's rusty but it maintains its integrity and strength. Maybe your blowing dust and sand wears yours away.So ...I was one panel short the year I put up the cattle panels. So I grabbed a remesh from the barn. It lasted ONE season. Thanks! I'm definitely going to try a row next year! I'll have to do some research and decide! I think that's half the funI definitely recommend the beans!!! If you look into some of the different varieties there are some gorgeous ones. Here are some of my favorites I have View attachment 4171624View attachment 4171635View attachment 4171636
When I got mine I asked if they would load them. So glad I did because they did it easily and explained the best way to get them out once home.I would love to get some cattle panels. How to get them home from TSC... that's the hard part. I've seen people bend them into an arch and put them in truck beds and trailers. Hubby isn't so sure about that.
Yes, but I don't think those were on saleAs far as you know do they have the lids only? I have rings out the ol’ wahzoo.
