Oh, I forgot to mention that we’ve been “enjoying” the Canadien wildfire smoke. I think it’s improving a little since I haven’t needed my rescue inhaler today for the first time in 3 days. Wah!

I think I'll plant some more cucumber seeds for a later crop, but I have to figure out where to plant them. And I'm out of fencing for trellis so I'll need to figure that out too.

I'll have to count how many quarts of tomatoes are left from last year. I want to have about 75-80 quarts on the shelf when I'm done canning 'maters. And I need to make hubby's blowtorch hot salsa. And some more green salsa for me.

I think the cucumbers are coming to an end…..thankfully. We have five large jars of kosher pickle, have made gallons (at least 10) of our cucumber/limeade, eaten a fair share, and have given some away…..and we still have a big bunch in the crisper drawer waiting their final destination with some still coming on. They’ven been quite the troopers this year.

Good news, my dentist was able to clean and fill the teeth I broke flossing. He showed me a picture of the broken tooth and explained where the nerve tissue was and if he did not numb my gums, I would have experienced pain. I did not feel anything through the 1-hour operation. My health insurance covered most of it, and I only paid $57 out of pocket to cover miscellaneous fees. He said I can eat anything I want; the filling has hardened, and my tooth is fixed.
The receptionist was trying to sell me cleaning services, but I declined and escaped the sales pitch with, "If I find a hot girlfriend I will sign up for the maintenance service."
