What did you do in the garden today?

I am beyond frustrated with my pineapple plants. I have like 7 of them. Five of them came from 2 store bought fruit originally. These 5 are over 3 years old now. They are huge plants.... But REFUSE to flower and fruit. I have tried everything... Potassium/ethylene water from bananas. Apple slices in the crown. Fertilized, moved to a sunnier spot, moved to a shadier spot. Still nothing... I am so tempted to just pitch them out. 😡
Do you put the pineapple plant in a bag with the apple slices to capture the ethylene gas released as the apple brake down? Realizing it would be a large trash size bag for a 3 year old pineapple.

No no no, I was meaning even smaller/cheaper hahah I’ve found a bunch of much smaller ones for like under $100. Like $50-$70 ish. Now, granted, IDK how well they’d work, BUT! For the price it might be worth trying at least? And YES these say freeze driers and NOT just dehydrator. They have them at Walmart and a few other stores.
I will say, if you seed save, the freeze dryer is amazing for getting seeds from tomatoes, tomatillos, and watermelon. I'm sure there's more, but these are the seeds I've gotten so far!

Those cheaper ones JUST dehydrate. They don't freeze dry.

My garden got destroyed in the recent storm. Destroyed!! All my tomato plants gone. All my aubergine/eggplants gone. All my basil gone. All my leeks gone. All my petunias and marigolds gone. My taller-than-me tree spinach gone.
I'm an adult human and I want to cry.

I had an emergency visit to ED before the storm and was discharged after the storm had hit so I had no chance to protect/move the taller or less stable plants/planters. The courgettes/zucchini are still okay. Everything else gone!!!
Ach, NO!

My seed order shipped! It should be here Friday. There is a lot of tomatoes…

I picked some more dry beans. The black turtle seem to be my most productive. Next year I will be planting a lot of them.

I also found a pepper practicing gymnastics
