What did you do in the garden today?

Just piddled in garden. Wondering why I haven’t grown a beefsteak tomato yet. I fed them the other day in case lacking in calcium etc. 🤔
I picked weeds around yard for older chickens. My phone says this is lemon balm. It smells nothing like lemon. I thought it might be in mint family. What do you think?
Looks like cat mint... Lemon balm and cat mint are all varieties of the mint family. I grow both, along with pineapple mint and Spearmint. My lemon balm is terribly invasive though.

These are pictures of catmint. The flowers are actually very tiny...

For chipmunks wooden snap type rat traps work well as do catch them alive traps. Story about that. Many years ago chipmunks were getting mom's tomatoes. She wanted me to bring in the catch alive trap. I said what are you going to do when you catch one? She just smiled. Sure enough I got a call when she got one. What do I do now? I put them in the stock tank that you don't have. Try a bucket of water. She did and it got out of the cage trap. ;)

The only reason I haven’t put any out is because there is this one chipmunk who has got to be 5+ years old missing half his tail named Stubby who has never touched a plant before. It’s probably stupid that I’m not doing it over one chipmunk but he is very old for a chipmunk and I can’t bring myself to risk it when he probably doesn’t have much time left. I doubt he makes it through the winter. If he does I guess ill just keep working around him 🤣

I can’t wait till it blooms! I have tried to plant cat nip but the outsiders kill it by laying on top of it or maybe passing out 😂
I even tried just seeds and they dug them up
