These are my favorite types of days. Cloudy, humid, 72°, trees still have leaves.
Today I'll clean the chicken coop if it doesn't rain.

I wish I had one of those days right now. I have so many outdoor projects to work on and I leave (last minute unexpected but necessary trip) for a couple of weeks tomorrow before sunup.View attachment 4223653

Is this stuff marked as culled somehow? Here's my stash of HomeDepot cull lumber. Quality evidently depends on who's sorting it out. Most of what I get has minor splits or dings. I only buy warped or twisted pieces if there's enough usable for a specific project I have in mind. I buy wide boards intending to rip them into 2x4 widths.

Same. I noticed I had some small cabbage loopers worms and a bunch of Harlequin beetles on my kale. Downpour and overnight temps into the 50s. No pests anywhere on them now...I went to the garden, saw a couple little tiny cabbage worms on my kale. Before I could get my sprayer out we got a huge downpour. Temps dropped into the 50s overnight, and even more rain for two days. Figured my kale would be chewed to nothing by the time I got back down there to spray. Nope, there was nothing on my Kale but one dead small worm. Apparently fall rains and cold temps knock them out, who knew? Hang in there with your kale, could be just keeping them covered til bugs are knocked out will do the trick.
It has a purple paint mark on the ends and is in a large lumber trolly in one of the lumber rows.Is this stuff marked as culled somehow?
