What did you do in the garden today?

Here's some reading material for inspiration
oh my goodness, I chuckled through the whole article.

Argh, it's mouse coming inside season. One got in the house, into the downstairs ceiling and fell between the wall studs. I can hear it jumping and scratching trying to climb and get out. I suppose in two days I'll be smelling it. Nuts.
I’m apparently more tired than I thought. I was about to ask how you know it was a male

@Minanora, what you told the kids in school is hilarious and I can just imagine how they seen you after that.
Most of them left me alone after they got my not so nice response. Didn't make them any more friendly. Which was perfectly fine with me. I had no interest in befriending any of them or indulging in their constant drama.

Garlic season is almost here!!!! Yes!!!!!

I still have more coming.... Plus what I'm growing from last year's garlic.

It's time to officially end my summer crops that are in the way of the garlic. Yay! I have a full green waste bin from ripping out the diseased plants and RKN roots. I'll drench the soil again this weekend.

Also, it's spooky season!!!!! Time to decorate!!! Woooooo!!

One year we were shocked awake by a mouse losing its grip on the inside of our bedroom wall and scratching all the way as it fell to the bottom. I believe that was the year we had about 40 of the critters in the house……it was an exciting time.
