What did you do in the garden today?

Tried YouTube. I am not that bright with tech. Especially when there is no way to send or continue. A brick wall for me. Everybody knows how but I am not everybody.
I understand - I would probably be in the same boat! I hope it gets figured out for you. Computer issues, especially with what you are dealing with, are so frustrating.

The fog is lifting very slowly here this morning. After second breakfast, I'll go out and do something in the garden. There's so much to do, I can take my pick of chores.

I actually NEED a frost to kill the buckwheat that self-sowed. Maybe this coming Thursday morning. I think I'll plant garlic or multiplier onions in one of the beds that is full of 4" tall buckwheat.

Next year, I'll plant buckwheat in a raised bed that has been underperforming; not sure why. As soon as that sets seed, I'll string trim it down and let it grow again. As quickly as that stuff grows, flowers, and sets seed, I should get 3 and maybe 4 plantings of it. It doesn't fix nitrogen, but the stems and leaves should add a lot of organic material to the soil.

Big Mahalos for the links and info🤙

The first time with the dyno I had it set up in the run and under a rain tarp. I used the bait and kept the trap in. No squeetos in the tray or not much but plenty in the yard buzzing and biting. I think desperation made me set it up a second time about a year later. Must of had a neighbor with standing water because the mosquitos were relentless. That time I put it in the coop and it just went to town. Had so many destroyed carcasses it was awesome. I also used fly strips and they captured 100s every night. It was intense so I kept it in the coop for months and it kept filling up with carcasses.

We have not had bad mosquitos for the last couple years. I have 6 fish bowls that id like to credit with being helpful. But, we just had a good rain so I think I will dust off the dyno and look into the links you sent before it gets thick again.
I live near a river and the sugar plantation near my Neiborhood use to send out a mosquito truck to curb the mosquito population every so often. They stop doing that when they went out of business long ago. As far as I can recall growing up, we use to get bitten by mosquitoes daily until I recently discovered how to get rid of them.

Now, I can walk around my house without a shirt and not get a single bite. I leave my Dyna trap and Amufer zapper on 24/7. I got a Amufer zapper in my back yard and one in my garage. I also have mosquito dunks in one 5-gallon bucket of water, in my garage. I refill it with water ever, so often, but I don't think I need it anymore.

At first, I was skeptical, but now I am living proof that it works.
