Got some yellow cayennes and jalapeños today. A lot of the he peppers don’t seem to be doing well with the cold so I’ll get a few of them ready to overwinter soon

One of my California wonder plants had 7 or 8 of these “mini” bell peppers so I picked a few

I don't either. That's why I have kids (that are all within a couple years either side of 40). Luckily the middle one took computer hardware at VoTech way back in high school. Whenever I destroy or delete something he's there to fix it for me.

Went out and picked 8 pumpkins with I don't know how many more are either not ready or are hidden to where I can't see them.

My understanding is that bunny poop can go directly on garden beds, no composting needed.

So, what is happening between these two breakfasts?

For farmers, working their butts off. For me, walking the dog and doing my workout. I have a second breakfast/pre-lunch so that I can keep working till noon, have a quick lunch, and then get back to work in the garden.

My blood sugar has never tested low, but I can feel when it's dropping and I need to eat something.

I dug two rows of potatoes today. I'll let them dry a bit so that the dirt brushes off. Then clean them off and store them. I have either 2 or 3 more rows to dig.

I weeded out the area where I buried Sunny and Pip this last spring. I'd had a cinder block over their graves to dissuade any critter who might have gotten inside the fence from digging them up. I buried them a good 2' deep, but I didn't want anything disturbing them.

I planted New England Aster seeds over them.
