We're going to get at least 5 days in a row of mid-upper 40s next week, including Christmas Day. We had a white Thanksgiving, and we'll have a brown Christmas.

I might rake leaves on Christmas Day. Just because I can.

Nope. And it will be a record 62° on Christmas day. We aren't complaining.

They passed a law here years ago (obamacare) that forces everyone to have health insurance whether you want it or not. I had to pay a fine to the government every single year on my taxes because I refused to pay for something I didn't want/use. Now I'm on social security which provides hospital care free, but not doctors unless you pay the government a couple hundred dollars a month out of your social security. Thank goodness when I first signed up there was an option not to sign up for the doctor part. It pisses me off to no end to be forced to pay for something I don't want or need. Here, of all places, the land of the free?

No, they are better than the one I had, so it's an upgrade for me.
