What did you do in the garden today?

Got my seeds ordered, probably more than I needed. 4 different kinds of beans, what was I thinking! Those seed catalogs just get me dreaming, lol. Got some from Baker Creek, RH Shumways, and trying some from Park Seed this year. They're in the Carolinas so guessing some of their seed will do well in our hot humid area.
I feel like you can never have to many seeds! :woot

windy here. had to fix goat shed roof. roof on the house got damaged a bit but it has to wait for the wind to stop.
Winds are whipping up pretty good here as well. We haven't lost the roof yet but things are blowing around out there. Today is trash pick up day in my neighborhood. After the collection truck came through, a few of the big empty bins were blown over or rolled down the street. On a good note, we got some heavy rains before sunup. First in a a bit over a month. Not so good for the town 12 miles south of us. They were woken by the tornado sirens around 0515. 🌬️⛈️🌪️
Stay safe chickengr and anyone else dealing with crazy weather today.

Near 60 today and rain soon. Made vegetable soup today. Turned out good. I am getting good at downsizing recipes. Enough for 3 bowls and I was trying for 2 bowls.
I never downsize, like to cook in big batches and put the extra in freezer. Instant meals for those super busy days when I don't feel like cooking! Which is often, lol

I still haven't been able to prune the orchard. Not only have we not been cold enough, but we've been warm enough for long enough that the SAP IS RUNNING!!

Alpaca update - #1 is still not getting up-not even trying, but is eating and drinking
#2 is occasionally trying to get up, but is still eating and drinking
#3-6 are all showing no signs but are being treated anyway, and are MAD that I won't let them out- they still need shots and wormer through Sunday and I'm not playing catch the mad alpaca every day.
