What did you do in the garden today?

My Red Star hens have been kicking out the eggs, so I started making these Korean shoyu eggs in the video, they are addicting. I am using an electric stove, so I had to bring the water to boil first before putting the eggs in for 6 minutes and I had to use 4 cups of water to my taste with aloha shoyu.

Personally, I'm not the biggest fan of Asian food but I do hope you like them.
What I'd like to try is scotch eggs. . . Someday. Have you ever tried them?

==,
Earthquake woke the boys up in the pasture and sent the boys racing up to the barn a full 15 minutes before the local seismograph picked up on it. I paid them no attention as they also run for (from) bags, pots, birds, clouds, Mondays, bunnies, and butterflies. They haven't been back out since. They're probably questioning why the ground tickled their toes.
15 minutes later I came inside and felt it, DH asked what the heck was that and LOOK the water in my glass is shaking. LOL. Doesn't happen often here, but this deep stone bedrock, moves it far!
Trees are sending out pollen and I'm hoping a damp week cuts down on it.
Spread a full 2 cubic yards of manure and old straw on the fields. Was going to mow it in, but sneezes and stuffies took over. Another day then.

I got a little bit done today but not nearly enough... I managed to get my Toka plum and 5 new Heritage raspberry canes planted. Supposed to rain every day this week but Tuesday.

I've got 2 plum trees growing that are 3 - 4 yrs old. They were grown from store bought fruit. One of the the two is already in full bloom! Even before my peaches have broken bud. Crazy... The other plum tree has a whopping TWO flowers on it. 🙄 I can hardly wait to see when this Toka will bloom. Next spring ought to be exciting for the plum trees...

I had meant to plant the coffee today, but I neglected to check the packet until I went to check the planting depth and apparently it needs to soak for two days! So I guess that’s going to be a Tuesday thing. At least I got the pot prepped.
