What did you do with your flock today?

Biscotti's still scraggly and still growing. He's far enough along I think he's going to make it! Doesn't that little comb look so male? ❤️ Really hoping I'm right...a little roo has an easier time then a little hen when it comes to breeding

It does look quite male! I’m so glad he seems to be okay! ❤️❤️❤️

Wow! Reminds me a bit of the Alps. Looks like everyone is having a ball ❤️
I love reindeer! My mom lives near a reindeer farm and it's so nice watching the calves charge around the fields as they grow.
They are so calm and gentle! I loved getting to be there and pet them and feed them. Such cool animals! 🥰

We passed out a few small treats as we went from coop to coop this afternoon. At one time I looked up where my wife was with her cart of stuff and she had hens covering it. I think they like her better than me now. :(
You're gonna have to up your game! They know who has the most treats... 😂

He's 100% adorable, that's my only comment. I'm notoriously bad at sexing chicks 🤣😍

Even though the feeder has enough layer pellets to last a couple of weeks, I went down and bought another bag. So the chickens are set for food until mid February.

I took a look at the grocery store loading dock and saw three banana boxes of produce scraps. Got home and sorted through them all. Celery, cilantro, citrus, radishes and rotting stuff went to the compost pile by the woods. The rest will be for the chickens to enjoy.

I chopped up some cabbage and leaf lettuce for them this morning, plus a couple of tomatoes and some green seedless grapes. After gorging, they're resting and soaking up some sunshine.

Filled up the wire feeder that's in their secure run so they have fresh stuff to pick on at all times. I started out by filling it halfway with cabbage, then a layer of apples, and topped off with curly dark green kale.
