What did you do with your flock today?

All is wonderful here. Still have Bolt wandering but have had moments when I thought... 2+ is too many to have out and about. I was going to suit up roo coop for foster kitties but now think I will freshen back up for the boys or boy and a few girls. Just so many other things going on I have not put a lot of follow through to any thought.
We pick up MIL tomorrow for our long haul and then to the airport. She is really having a tuff time and therefore so are us caregivers. Glad we are making it to the finish line. 🙏🙏🙏
In one piece.

I wish I'd gotten a photo, but alas I didn't. This morning after I'd finished adding food, cleaning out the poop from everywhere and generally saying good morning to all of the flock, I was on my way back to the house when I saw it. One of my brown leghorn boys was displaying for a very specific slate grey easter egger lady friend of his. It was soooooo sweet. "Hey, gorgeous. How do you like this wing I've got? And, what about this other one? Pretty swell wings, eh?"

I know. I know. Old news for most of you. But my boys are all young bucks, new to the dating game. It was such a sweet scene and made me smile really wide. 😁

I don't think that ever gets old. Just wish I could have seen it, sounds like quite the show ♡♡♡

Room called around a bit, and it looks like Sonny isn’t a sexlink after all. We don’t know what she is, or if she’s a girl or not, but at least now I know there’s a 50/50 chance instead of 100.
The people said she’s some kind of white bird, but they didn’t know what. I think she’s either going to be a leghorn, California white, one of their special mixes (but those often have a bit of black on them, so probably not that one), or some other breed I don’t remember the name of.
Okay my white bird that hatched is EE and Marans. No feathers on the legs but pretty started a dull white .. Guess need get a phot for you .. I have no longhorns and it was a blue egg.

Cleaned the serama coop and restuffed the

walls with pine needles.

Aloha all, sorry, quit getting alerts again and was a but distracted with other stuff.

Wow, 10" of snow. I guess enjoy the miracle ♡

@kurby, I can't tell you how sad it makes me that your heart is still breaking. It just goes to show what a big heart you have. I'm sure after the whirlwind is over you will get your time to sit with the loss and have your time to greave.
Beautiful photos and spread ♡

@FD. Way to embrace the chicks lol. Think that is making lemonade! Love the photo props and the photos of course. ♡♡ super terrific!
Thank you @TropicalBabies, I knew raising birds would be hard on my heart…but I really never expected to love them all so much ❤️

Today was an alright day, although I haven’t been sleeping well and I’ve been soooo tired today. We had a break in the rain for this afternoon and so I had a chance to visit with the chickens. Did a survey of them, and one looks like she might not make it. She’s breathing out her mouth and looks rather sick. And two others, Puff and Newbell have little bubbles in their eyes. So the whole flock is on Tylosin now and I VetRx’d the ones that sounded congested. At this point I am just resigned to how many and who will die, and when…not if they will die. :-( But in the meantime I'm going to try and enjoy them as much as possible. I was visited by some chickens that don’t usually visit me. That made me happy. ❤️

I relly think you need to move the coop to a new location the really hard part connot take any infected birds to it. I know how hard on you that would be.
