Trop reminded me of seeing a news story yesterday about a chicken (RIR) found wandering the halls of the pentagon.

I got a pic of Iris on Saturday. He was looking extra handsome. :3

Also I added two pigeons to my flock. : DDDD

Both are rescued I picked up from the humane society yesterday. I had no idea Louis was going to be a fantail, but it was a very pleasant surprise. : D

Louie is beautiful!! Love that you now have pigeons! And that picture of Iris is just amazing!! He looks gorgeous! Those colors

You guys are just amazing ♡ what a great home you provide to all things feathered and furry ♡ those little pigeons hit the lotto.

I finally got out for my early morning walk this morning. I unfortunately got out of the habit when we were caring for MIL. I like to walk to the track when it is dark and then walk an hour or so till it gets light. Nice, quiet etc.

It is great watching the world wake up ♡. Like this little guy who was ready to start his day but then saw me- see him on my way home. Chickens gone wild. This is how my chickens want to sleep but they are too fat.

Haha, that's an impressive chicken I used to love early morning walks, until I had kids The quiet and peace early is so lovely! Glad you were able to go!

One of the few... and I mean few perks of age. Kids grow and do their own thing and you have that moment when you need to reconnect with self. Remember self? Well, too old to get back into big waves but heck, I can have a good walk (and chickens!) So good for the soul.
