Aloha gang!
Oh my gosh, it was so hot today. Almost summertime miserable yucky hot
Chooks were panting past sundown and that makes me sad.
Around 1 I turned on sprinklers and a hose so they could look for bugs while their feet got wet under the shade of a tree. The adopted chunky monkeys were Iike what the heck, what kind of holiday is this?!! So I made a big puddle in the shade for them too and i think they forgave me. My Buff Roo looks like he may try a little romance with them and I would like to hatch out a Cornish x Buff Brahma if possible. If they can survive Kekaha heat
or he can manage to not fall off. They are actually pretty sweet girls just hella F A T.
Well, hope tomorrow is not as hot. It is mid March right?

Babies are a friendly and trusting batch. They line up and let me grab them for the transfer to the play brooder and then back to sleeping brooder in the eves. Like pick me! Pick me! So cute ā”ā”ā” but pretty soon they will outgrow our game and I am not sure where I will house them. Maybe a dog cage, maybe my light b's who are just hitting pol will all move themselves to the big coop and solve my problem for me.
I need to set a few eggs in 3 weeks for the grand kids visit at the end of April. Definitely up to my eyeballs in chickens ā”
