Longest wait for a vax so far. Like a 3 hour experience lol glad it is done.

Treating ourselves, auntie and a kid to burgers for lunch today. Been a long time for me since I had a burger and I am looking forward to it. The one red meat I really like once in awhile.

Other than that, laying low. Poop boards etc. I did all of my bleaching of chicken dishes the other day and it is paying off today.

So I went to a Poultry Expo this afternoon…living here is bad for my obsession I was rather restrained and only came home with two babies! I’m making another attempt to get a girl Lav Orpington and a girl BLRW. They’re SO adorable PLEASE BE GIRLS.

And yesterday, I got sad…we found one of my Olandsk Dwarf hens dead :-( I had noticed the past couple days she was sneezing and I looked her over and she seemed fine…so I thought I’d wait and see if I saw any additional symptoms but must have been more internal. So I lost one teeny girl and bought two new chicks…
