Today should be our last 90 day...I hope.
And of course I just watered and in looking it says we "should" get rain next two days...oh well.
I got the idc blues.
Bluey is crowing constantly this morning which is causing Joey to crow constantly...ugh. I wandered why he was so hateful this morning so I'm guessing hormones ragin...it was so bad late yesterday that Lizzy slept away from all of em last night! I couldn't believe she did that!

I totally get the idc blues! I get those more than I’d like. I’m glad you are feeling physically better, and hope the blues resolve with some time! Post surgery is always funky times!

Aww...the chicks are all so cute! I love the names too. I'm looking forward to seeing how they grow! I kinda want to get some bantam cochins. They just look so huggable with all that fluff!

I'm gonna miss Spider pics! He's such a handsome boy! It sounds like he'll be going to a good place though and that's great.

The heats just been crazy everywhere this year! I was worried I'd oops somehow in my garden this year because we got no flowers on anything over the summer.... we usually get peppers and Barbados cherries over the summer. But just when I started to fuss about it, suddenly everything went into bloom. View attachment 3244762
So hopefully we'll have some fruit before long. I did some reading and peppers don't tend to fruit in high heat. Ours are chiltepins and tabascos though that have fruited well even with the heat in years past. But this year was just too hot.

I absolutely love your brooder in the window! Well, I love your brooder and it being in the window is just fun. I'll have to get pictures of my brooder when I go inside. You'll either laugh or be appalled .

And your pasture pic makes me want to grab a good book, some alphalfa pellets for treats, and go lounge in the shade there.

The pollen in tomatoes dries out too. I can oversummer tomato plants with work but won't get fruit only troubles.
Humidity plays a big factor too.

Yeah, lounge chairs ☑ cool drink check ☑ good book ☑☑ cubes or food will get you frisked and rousted out of your chair and my little thief Hombre will probably then rob you of your drink & book too... heck, he'd probably end up in your lap. Just kind of a big hungry dog ♡♡♡

I absolutely love my dog cages cuz when I have just HAD IT with the boys and their behavior and the drama and the bullying... I just toss them in and feel how good life is with out them being bad. Probably exactly like grounding your kid with out the push back and complaints.
