I feel like the Fonz tonight (does anyone remember the Fonz from Happy Days?) I opened up my broken incubator, pulled out the humidifier that's labeled "do not touch", stared hard at it.. put it back and reassembled the incubator and.....*drum roll*.....it now works!

That is soooo cool. I absolutely love it!

You've all been so busy and such a talented bunch! We don't have kids but I'm a sucker for Halloween and used to do the same as you, Kurby 22. I'd decorate every year and go all out with it. This year I just baked loads of treats and decorated them. Badly!
Any babies hatch yet? I'm sending them all positive energy.

Congratulations Gammas Bearded Babies! It never gets old, the joy when they lay their first egg! I need to see the macrame swing!

Today, for the first time, I saw that my young English Araucana rooster went to the nest and laid an egg!

My girl, Penelope, crows exactly like a rooster! In fact, i thought it was her brother doing it until i witnessed it. I thought she was a roo for the longest time but then out popped her 1st egg! She now lays 12 days in a row then has a day off - and they say Cochin bantams are rubbish egg producers

That's actually my usual way with a lot of things...but with vehicles I'm just not as confident he'll smile about it eventually...lol.

@kurby22 I love Halloween too. Think Xmas is my favorite though. Halloween I go nuts decorating outdoors and Xmas I go nuts indoors and leave outside to hubby. Then I get to spend a month surrounded by twinkling lights and choosing gifts for my loved ones. So much fun. I just wish more of my loved ones still liked sending Xmas cards!

I agree with the Xmas cards. I stopped sending them because for a long time I was and nobody but my mom would send them.

So my adventure was a blast. Who would have thought dropping poop off and saving on gas could be so amazing.
I swung by the goat farmer ladies place and she was kind enough to give me a bunch of bags. Always like to see her as she is a fearless woman warrior.View attachment 3309542

Actually yes it does for me . That is awesome though that you have that many! I can’t wait to start doing my bags. I’m kinda waiting and collecting before I drag my sewing machine out. And no, I didn’t see any of the costumes…this year I cheated and hot glued everything…including my sons extra arms. Anyway…it is even better that you can get a good variety of bags from others as well.

Wow! Would you come work on mine lol!!! I cleaned and packed em all up for the year (again) and I got 4 of em now!?!

I agree with the Xmas cards. I stopped sending them because for a long time I was and nobody but my mom would send them.

Same here!!! A part of me wants to do away with all technology...go back to simpler times (but much harder!) DDs n I have been discussing now that they both have children and they even are thinking along the same lines! Life is such a rat race and if you are in the "world" so to speak then what purpose does it really have in light of eternity (ok I'll stop there cause I know I prob have different beliefs than others).

Yesterday I fully fill the duck pond. And what do the duck do…the boys were such gentleman to let the girls swim in their drinking water . I had just replaced the water like 30 min prior to this. So today I’m making the cover for their drinking water. I have put it on hold so I could get other things done first for winter. They hadn’t shown interest in it until I drained the pool to clean it and only put a small amount of water in it. Which benefited in many ways because they realized the bigger world they had besides just the pond and actually started eating.

As for the chickens I got 2 more eggs yesterday. Being a total of 7. But EVERYONE wants the that nest box. And now I for sure know I have 3 laying. So I put up “curtains” to hopefully help.

Well, I'm really behind lol. I need to finish 1 stand and build 4 more but I am still sewing bags to fill so...
My calvary flies in tomorrow and after he gets a few days of rest we will be able to team up and do some fast work. Just getting my work load lightened and be able to get back to sewing will be fabulous. I am getting ahead on some things.... like, a house CAN stay clean with pets and almost nothing has gone backwards. Amazing.
Sales are happening and picking up! I'm very happy with how it is going ♡♡♡ I am really glad I over loaded the first 2 accounts, now to overload 4 more...
