I opened up my broken incubator, pulled out the humidifier that's labeled "do not touch", stared hard at it.. put it back and reassembled the incubator and.....*drum roll*.....it now works!
Today, for the first time, I saw that my young English Araucana rooster went to the nest and laid an egg!
I agree with the Xmas cards. I stopped sending them because for a long time I was and nobody but my mom would send them.Is the lady roo a happy surprise? They sure are beautiful birds
That's actually my usual way with a lot of things...but with vehicles I'm just not as confident he'll smile about it eventually...lol.
@kurby22 I love Halloween too. Think Xmas is my favorite though. Halloween I go nuts decorating outdoors and Xmas I go nuts indoors and leave outside to hubby. Then I get to spend a month surrounded by twinkling lights and choosing gifts for my loved ones. So much fun. I just wish more of my loved ones still liked sending Xmas cards!

And no, I didn’t see any of the costumes…this year I cheated and hot glued everything…including my sons extra arms. Same here!!! A part of me wants to do away with all technology...go back to simpler times (but much harder!) DDs n I have been discussing now that they both have children and they even are thinking along the same lines! Life is such a rat race and if you are in the "world" so to speak then what purpose does it really have in light of eternity (ok I'll stop there cause I know I prob have different beliefs than others).I agree with the Xmas cards. . I had just replaced the water like 30 min prior to this. So today I’m making the cover for their drinking water. I have put it on hold so I could get other things done first for winter. They hadn’t shown interest in it until I drained the pool to clean it and only put a small amount of water in it. Which benefited in many ways because they realized the bigger world they had besides just the pond and actually started eating.
Awe the pic of em all lookin in the box! LololYesterday I fully fill the duck pond. And what do the duck do…the boys were such gentleman to let the girls swim in their drinking water
As for the chickens I got 2 more eggs yesterday. Being a total of 7. But EVERYONE wants the that nest box. And now I for sure know I have 3 laying. So I put up “curtains” to hopefully help.
