Your nest boxes are so neat and cleanAfter sewing some bags I then got to do some good chicken checks ♡ Seems I have been so rushed lately but today it was nice to get down to their level, have a good look over while lap chatting. Also fed them worms, caught a few lizards and a leaf curler for snacks. Still need to treat 3 combs with antifungal. Wait till they are outta the nestView attachment 3388479

Very exciting! Can't wait to see what you build!Awe they so cute!!!
I just sat down and had some time with mine...it is pure joy when I'm with them...even ole bootyhead Joey too!
Your nest boxes are perfection in cleanliness!
I got back home late yesterday after keeping grandson at his house.
Debated on locking chickens inside coop or letting em sleep on their porch. Decided to go check it out n see...and sure glad I did!
Daisy had 2 eggs she had decided were time to get brooding! So I confiscated them and picked her up n gave her a good talk ...again.
Good news! @TropicalBabies Was right...dudes finally showed up to do back porch! Thank You Lord!
They got the old deck taken completely down in one afternoon and saved me my 4x4s and the 1x6 decking boards! Complained bout it...but DH said they were pretty stoned.
I pray the rest of the build goes well!!!
Gonna sweet talk DH into digging 3 holes for the breeding coop project so I know I have a good foundation rather than risk me causing problems. Then I pray I can take it from there!
Yall have an awesome weekend!!! And thank yall for the words of encouragement!
I'm thrilled those guys showed up. Let's hope for sober minds when it's time for them to do layout lolAwe they so cute!!!

Good luck at the show! Let us know how you get on.Since @ChicksnMore shared, I will too!
My show chicken Cooplex is coming along too! The next phase requires skills I don’t have so I’ve paused on it until I feel more confident. I’ve been watching videos on best ways to cut things out of wood with various tools…I have to do all the prep work and then the husband does the sawing. He’s stronger so he has more control and can be more precise. I just have to help him with the details! We have to cut out doors, windows, and then the center wall to divide the coops.

I’m now shifting focus to the next chicken show this Saturday! Hoping a couple breeders show up with some birds to sell for my rooster boys! Ruby, the Balls, and my d’Anvers are all going!![]()
Oh what a happy ending and a heartfelt storyRoad trip tomorrow, folks. Taking our pigeon guest home to her owner. She belongs to an elderly gentleman who lives in the Welsh borders so she was quite a way from home. No wonder she was exhausted! She's just 6 months old and went missing after being let out for exercise (racing pigeons are one of the very few exceptions to the housing order because of avian influenza. They have to be kept inside the majority of the time but are allowed out for exercise to keep condition) On the advice of RPRA, we've had to keep her quarantined just to make sure she doesn't have bird flu. Hence the delay reuniting her with the owner. I'll miss her, she's a very friendly little thing. Stan will definitely miss her as I think he's quite fallen for in a confused sort of way.
So glad your contractor has shown up Gammas Bearded Babies. Must be a huge relief!
And things look a beautiful as ever, Tropical Babies.![]()
