just retired in January 
and then GONE. Chased her into the forest and would not leave her alone. Got close to getting them back but in the end decided to let them freerange in hopes that they would shelter in the trailer coop. No such luck. Think they slept in the trees to be near HER according to the camera.
. I'm tired as I have not been sleeping well again. Worried about things I need to do so getting less sleep and being less productive lol 
. Now I am just taking a minute to step back and complain to my chickens pals inbetween alarms and cats and screaming chickens

We lost a few friends this week. One not discovered for a long while
So with heavy hearts we went up to check Koke'e boys and bring them home last eve. Think i may have a person for them and would like them to be closer.... We rode the bikes up as the Kona low was still stalled and skies were clear. Well, boys were in the yard, managed to hop out the gap that I only filled with branches as a detour. Well, those boys took one look at her and they were in LOVE

This is my sewing station btw. I have places for the gang to hang with me while I sew.... but this guy is not ours... he just thinks he is. Kind of hard to be mad at him as I think his people left him.... may have left this planet left him kine dunno for sure. Need to check. So, he is an honorary M****n for the time being. Hard to get stuff done because he won't get out of my way. Funny how cats do that. He does not know that this is the drill.
One of the Lani's was screaming bloody murder and not stopping so I had to get up and check (what are roosters for?) And there was a feral cockerel in HER nest box so I scared him out but then she got hopped by one of the Light B and is still screaming... bout 30 minutes now. My neighbors must hate not being at work today.
Kona low has finally showed and our phones and TV are all alarming with flash flood warnings

oh, and the murderer is still wandering around up Koke'e. Just such a strange, strange week... I gave up picking up my dropped tools off of the cutting block and came in to make a quesadilla and watch HGTV .
I use Naturewise as well...all mine are bantams so they prefer I do the pellets into mash rather than eating dry.

Not sure what the autopsy will say for the one friend but the other was natural... as I am sure they both were. We don't have much murder or anything more than domestics and petty theft stuff. Still a very safe place for the most part.
I did get rewarded with 17 eggs today for all my misery
