What did you do with your flock today?

@PopoMyers super glad Pepper is continuing to improve!
Idk if it's from my being sick for so long with sinus infection and the constant coughing or what but I am so bummed...from the dudes still not even half done with the backporch to 2 shell-less eggs this morning and the 60+ mph winds yesterday that wreaked a lot of havoc and not a drop of rain or clouds with em! Just straight up constant winds.
I pray yall have better days than mine has begun! Gonna get off here n go praise Jesus in hopes He improves my attitude!
Amen! Please get better soon. Sinus infections just ruin my days.

Have you got a clear photo of the urates leaking? Just wondering if they are indeed urates as I've never noticed a foul smell from them. Could it be vent gleet (quite common after a prolapse) or even pullorum? Both can smell pretty nasty.
Sounds like everything else is on track though. Amazing work!

My chickens are all just great at the moment (famous last words!), thanks for asking :)

She also laid another egg today. Lack of light is not stopping her. There is less leaking as of this afternoon. Drips off her feathers. Doesn’t seem like as much there compared to yesterday.

You were asking about the weather here @TropicalBabies and it’s been pouring since Friday. Today I had to bring in 8 chickens and use the blow dryer because they were drenched and muddy 🥴 5 are still inside under the heat lamp. So I decided they could use something warm in their tummies and made them scrambled eggs with crushed egg shell, herbs, poultry cell, hemp hearts, greens, and poultry power liquid that is high in omegas and Vitamin E. That should help them warm up! Couple ladies are a bit thin, so I figured the extra treats wouldn't hurt!

No rain tomorrow supposedly, so I’ll make everyone else some tomorrow!

I use this cute dollar store bucket to collect eggs. Cock E, however, absolutely doesn't think it's cute. I had an egg in the bucket, and he decided to attack this. The egg inside broke, so I dumped it out for Pikake, and she promptly began eating it. He must not like Great Pink Sharks.

That shark looks quite suspicious! Cock E clearly knows how to care for his ladies! 😆❤️

Now that you mention it, it does smell like a yeasty, sour, smelly type discharge. I'll treat for gleet. Which cream works the best?
I went and got miconazole 2% cream, Greek probiotic yogurt, witch hazel. Should I stop the meloxicam and Prep H, or continue? She had a wash, and cream put on. She ate the yogurt, and I put raw apple cider vinegar in her water. Her behavior doesn't indicate pullorum.

@FBMcrazy8 oh no! Hopefully it will heal up without any problems and be ok!
So how many hatched!? I must have missed some posts somewhere.
I only had 3. I opened the other 2 up and they looked REALLY good. But they didn’t turn and wasn’t moving. 😭 I know my numbers isn’t great but I really think it could have been better if they didn’t get dropped.
