What did you do with your flock today?

I cut off some branches from my Christmas tree to throw to the birds. The free-ranged girls didn’t care, and Iris was scared of it, but the caged birds were pretty excited. Elphie and Os didn’t know what to do with it, but I think they liked the smell and the greenery.

And I got some pictures of my Polish girls by some flowers.

It’s been raining a lot here. My ducks have been loving all of the puddles.

On Sunday I checked all of my chickens for bugs. It took about 20 minutes for 19 birds, so I think that’s a personal record.

Last night Santa cut her comb on one of the water buckets. I didn’t find her right away, but when I did, it looked a lot worse than it was. By the time I got her back outside, my bathroom was a mess. If I knew what was going to happen, I would’ve covered the walls in plastic sheets first. XD
I normally treat them outside, but it was getting dark and it started to hail shortly after I brought her in. I replaced the water bucket, so hopefully it won’t happen again.
