Beckett laid a tiny egg tonight. I found it in the nest while I was putting everyone to bed.
Here it is with a quail egg:

Aloha and happy Saturday!!!
I got my second "poke" on Thursday and I have to admit, I got a little wiped yesterday. Today is good though so back to chores.
On my hatch of 10 eggs- 2 were unfertilized, 1 early quitter, 1 my hen crushed during it's hatch (??!) and 6 are perfect. Pulling lots of Brahma, just the way I like it.

Well, I have extra poop on the boards today because yesterday I took off. I have grass drying on top of the coops again. LOVE THAT! It is working so well for me.

Also bleaching my waterers and giving 2 away because I am tired of replacing the dome/water holder/thing because they keep getting pukas in them and failing.
And these two are still here lol. Going to make their appointment for check up, vacs and fixing as they are almost 6 weeks, I think.

And my floors are still a mess....

The door on my faverolles’ runs broke (the screws were too short, and they came out). Thankfully I caught it before I let anyone out, and was able to prop it shut until I could fix it. Normally my dad fixes these kind of things, but he was busy so I put the birds in a different run in the grass and fixed it myself. I’ve helped build a lot of the coops and runs, but this was the first time I did something like this myself, and even though I had to take the door completely off its hinges, I didn’t have any issues.

After I was done with that, I spent a few hours re-painting an old statue with them. They didn’t like my company, but it was nice. XD Nikki is broody, so it kept her off of the nest.
