What did you do with your flock today?

Well, after a redo on the door, DH got this far and then we moved the beast through the garden and into the run. Good fun 😖

So, being the clever human that I am. I decided to switch the entrance to the nest box to the other side so I could give them a tad more privacy and a grander entrance. Also, the upper nest boxes are removable. I could not decide weather I wanted them or not so asked DH to make them removable ;););)
The chicken's got to play in the yard all day except for Bolt. Bolt got locked up in one of the rooster coops because he and Ivan have been fighting through the fence and both, mostly Ivan, look like heck though think Ivan somehow got the best of Bolt.
I head back up to Koke'e early to clean the cabin for my gal pal and to set a trap for Ele Ka Pele. Tuesday I'll take Kahili in and hopefully EKP to be fixed instead if Monday. Works better timewise.

Obviously bleaching feeders, waterers and poopie towels.
Fed meal worms and enjoyed watching them enjoy themselves.

Long day and it's only 1:30pm.
Took the 2 cats into be fixed. Oh wait, back-up. Caught Ele Ka Pele last eve! So, been here and waiting going on 5 hours with few chores inbetween and a 1 hour drive time.
I miss my chickens ♡♡♡!
Picked up 12 traps. With the wait the way it is... I think I will just do a one time trapping.

Not too much to report today! Spent a lot of time with the babies today but nothing special :) got lots of snuggles from the Ameraucanas 😍

We switched to a different brand of mealworms and black soldier fly larvae? To be honest, nothing really interesting has happened today. Well, except for a rather odd egg.
Did they like the soldier fly larvae? I got some today and my quail love them but the chickens seemed to be unimpressed by them haha. Maybe just cuz they’re new—god forbid I change things up on them 😆😆
