I can’t believe I’m saying this, but it was almost easier when they were babies.

I know, isnt she the cutest??I want the floofy girl in the last pic. She’s so cute!
Mmmm the SFs are smart! Berries are deliciousI haven’t been doing a lot with my birds recently (aside from the normal stuff), but I discovered the SFs love the berries from one of my trees. And by love I mean the berries turned them into greedy little monsters. XD
I’ve never had anyone that excited for the berries. It’s even more shocking because the SFs are reeeaaally picky eaters.
Everyone is all scraggly and molting right now, so no pictures. Yen is almost done with hers, and Molly is pretty close, but everyone else is just starting. So far my ducks have it the worst. While the ducks themselves look fine, the coop looks like a crime scene before I clean it every morning. XD
Honey is still getting better with the birds. I can walk by them with a loose leash, and the other day she was out running while the caged birds were in their run and she barely glanced at them.
They are! I’ve never tried these berries, but the birds are pretty fond of them. I think the SFs were raised on cherries, so it explains why they’re so picky. XDMmmm the SFs are smart! Berries are delicious
My chickens are all too young for any big time molting but there are plenty of feathers anyway! My quail look horrible and feathers everywhere. Not quite at crime scene level but pretty bad haha!
This cooler weather seems to have riled up all the babies! Everyone is bickering today! Like kids that are tired of each other
I’m glad Honey is getting better! It’s so stressful having dogs and chickens for me, I can’t feel totally at ease and would be sooo upset if I lost a chicken to one of my own dogs![]()
Ahh man! I’d be picky too if I’d been raised onThey are! I’ve never tried these berries, but the birds are pretty fond of them. I think the SFs were raised on cherries, so it explains why they’re so picky. XD
I am too! I’ve never really had to worry about dogs until I got her. I have pugs, so I normally have to focus more on keeping the dogs safe from the chickens, lol.
Yeah, they’re pretty chill. They’re both old now too, so it’s even less of an issue. It took one peck when they were younger and the dogs haven’t bothered the birds since. XDAhh man! I’d be picky too if I’d been raised on! Especially Rainier cherries! Those are the best!
That’s funny that your pugs aren’t a concern! My French bulldog is way worse than the big dogI’m sure she’d have no clue what to do with them if she caught one but she’s sure relentless
fortunately she’s old and lost a lot of the feeling in her back legs so she’s a lot slower hehe. Pretty sure my big chickens would kick her butt! I mostly worry about the bantams, they’re a lot more fragile!
