What did you do with your flock today?

I am going to have anxiety every time a chickens crop is too big for the rest of my days I feel so bad for both chickens that I never even considered coccidiosis. I might’ve saved Ms Pretty if I’d thought of it sooner :-(. Fluff seemed a lot more like himself today so I feel a bit better than yesterday.

So excited for Saturday! Husband is taking the kids to their grandparents house for a few days so I will have the house to myself most of the day and we are going to go out to dinner just the two of us for the first time in FOREVER. And I think we are gonna go get the kitty on Sunday or Monday!

You clearly love your chickens and you're doing your best. We're none of us perfect and we are inevitably going to have setbacks. Don't go blaming yourself because you just can't control everything.

We stopped to get MIL's meds from the pharmacy and I got spotted by this hungry mom. Lucky me had a granola bar in the car so she and her little brood got a snack.

I could use a fluffy face to give me some comfort right now! I’m feeling sorry for myself and my sickly chickens…I found lesions tonight in another chickens mouth that look like wet pox…and she’s breathing very gurgly and sounds stuffy. I’m just so exhausted from stressing out about their health every day :-( I just feel so bad that they’re all miserable and I can’t seem to get it fixed!

Oh well, trying to get myself out of the sorry for myself phase. Pretty sure a fluffy kitten face would help! Also I did get a visit from a pullet today that never visits me (Aria Jr) so I felt slightly special

Oh gosh @kurby22 I am so incredibly sorry to hear that. We have a lot of pox around here too. I give vitamins in the water and it really seems to help them ride it out.
