The babies are doing pretty good. A few days ago I got the rest of the bands replaced, so now if they escape there's a much higher chance I'll be able to get them back again.Happy Sunday all!

My honey decided to come up on Friday afternoon so I had to switch gears and clean up my sewing mess (threads all over the floor lol) and make dinner. I ended up twisting my ankle helping dh so no walks for a few days ā¹. He left after pancakes yesterday and I got back to my sewing. 7 more bags- and my best yet despite the condition of the bags, just stored for a long time and wrinkled. I figured out a few things that work for me and my machine- which is fairly new to me (in the closet for a few years after craigslist purchase) got some of our bugs worked out plus better quality and useful tricks. Headed down the hill today. Broody should be in lockdown.. . Almost expect to see little faces ā” may be able to lock down the incubator, Little Man's person should be showing up around noon and I am going to show him how to worm his flock and I can drop off the mulch I grabbed, though still have not decided if I will take my truck or just scoot down as it is supposed to be a nice day. Rain dh told me about...was not a thing.
I also really miss my buffs and pullets. .. and I get to watch my guy Miguel Pupo win Teahepoo! On YouTube. Been spying this kid with great style and humility for awhile and this is a great win.

Alsoā¦I am starting to think my frizzled Polish girl is a boy after all. Itās SO hard to tell with the feathers! They are almost 6.5 months old so Iād expect more sickle and saddle looking feathersā¦.but sheās also sort of smallish and may just be a bit behindā¦thoughts?? No red on the face reallyā¦no real comb but sort of a small one that is still pale. No crowingā¦but Spider doesnāt crow much either!

Lol this is true. She has everything free ranging and 2 dogs roaming around there too. Iām sure she did a lot of training. But to free range Iām sure she has had some losses.Oh my gosh @kurby22 I'm just dying of cuteness

I would love to hatch more!! Especially now since I have two pairs. The second pair is still a little too young to lay, but when she does, it'll be tempting not to let her. I don't have room for more, and my dad might just kill me if I even mentioned upgrading. XD
On Friday I picked up some ice plant for them, so I'm hoping I can build a few shelves on the outside to put the plants on, that way they'll have a natural, edible curtain. Nothing I plant lives, so we'll see how that goes.
