Hehehe love it!My mom asked me to send her some pet pics to share with her friends and I came across an old pic of Kimi with baby Manchego and Gouda. They always thought feet made the best perch. View attachment 3379744

I totally feel ya!!!Ahh dang it!! I hate when our bodies fail us like that :-(. I can’t close my right hand all the way because my hand hurts from all the painting. I’m taking a painting break in hopes it calms down—and maybe a muscle relaxant tonight! Having an idea is the biggest step I think! The details can be addressed as you go!![]()
Yes, the sun and drying out time is very welcome! I have finished painting my nest boxes, most of my painting, and I made my first window prototype (not a pretty sight!@kurby22 glad you folks are having a reprieve from the deluge 🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧
.
Good job hunkering down and staying dry. Now you can get after your new coop plans!!!
Yeah that’s exactly why I’m painting first! I would end up doing the same thing and be annoyed the entire time I’m not painting itI totally feel ya!!!
I regret not taking the time to paint mine before putting it up! It's half painted to this day...over a year later!
Just sold the lil original pre-fab coop and chicken wire! So now I can get started!!!
I luv the name u gave your new coop!!! Too cute!
Prob too many to count...but oh so gorgeous!!!So. Glad. To be finished with this batch of bags. I really need a steady pace instead of all or nothing
So not a lot of playing with my feathered babies today. Pretty much just scrape, scub, fill and snack.View attachment 3380258View attachment 3380259View attachment 3380260
To pretty not to share. Wonder how many mosquitos it is harboring lol![]()
We were stationed on Okinawa for 4 years. Love their cuisine, and I have a cookbook somewhere. I learned to make some of their dishes while there. We really enjoyed living there.Happy Thursday all!
@ChicksnMore your babies are in such GOOD capable hands ♡ I really hope for some good results on your test..
I don't get to claim Asian decent but am lucky enough to have 1/4 Asian kids and Cambodian inlaws. Not to mention my beautiful grand babies
First in line for the food. Still have a few good recipes in my head from my Okinawian X MIL. Terrific lady.
Not thrilled about the NY celebrations as I really hate fireworks. They have completely terrorized Hawaii's neighborhoods. Rude, thoughtless, inconsiderate, PLANET KILLING f-ing fireworkssorry. I'm pre- stressing

We have a nephew there doing the same. They (he and his family) love it too, so much they got an extension lol.We were stationed on Okinawa for 4 years. Love their cuisine, and I have a cookbook somewhere. I learned to make some of their dishes while there. We really enjoyed living there.
She's improving fast. Her cracked eyes almost full open now and her cheesy eye is semi open. That cheesy eye looks awful inside though ands seeping. Looks a bit like raw hamburger inside. She still isn't touching her normal feed or even water, but she slurps up the baby food/medicine mix well. Crop still feels empty but she's acting a lot more lively so think the baby mix is going to get her through til she's willing to eat...it's high calorie/nutrition in a drinkable form and I hold it right in front of her every little bit.Ahhh that’s the saddest sight! Mycoplasma sucks. I hope it’s something else! So many things end up with eye issues it’s hard to know the cause. I hope she recovers! Tylan or Enrofloxacin are the best meds I’ve found when those sinuses get super swollen—along with the Terramycin. It’s usually good enough for mild cases, but that girl looks so sadI hope she heals fast!
Im so glad to hear NoHopes hanging in thereToday, we had sun in the afternoon, so I chopped up all the organic greens I got for the chickens and made them all super happy to see leafy greens! The got a spring salad mix, green kale, collard greens, and two kinds of chard. While I prepared the greens, Nohope tried to peck greens thru the bag, so I pulled some out. He had almost an entire huge leaf of it all by himself! He ate almost like a normal chicken today. He had some waffle fries, tiny bits of chicken tenders, kale and then a bunch of his feed. He still can’t walk, but he tries and is really really strong. Im not getting my hopes up at all, as that’s burned me before—but he seems less sickly today.
Checked on Bruno and he’s putting weight on his leg again so I’m thinking he’s feeling a bit better. If it dries out enough over night I might even sit outside with the big kids tomorrow!![]()
Ah...but all that beautiful lushness feeds the soul doesn't it? Even just seeing pictures of it makes me feel refreshed...and never itchySo. Glad. To be finished with this batch of bags. I really need a steady pace instead of all or nothing
