Oh wow! Oh wow! That looks so delicious I want to cry! And, yes, I'm drooling bucketfuls! and I thought the banana, chocolate and toasted walnut cake l made yesterday looked good. I'm actually ashamed of it now....

Yeah I hate how Joey has turned out...he's on a rampage right now even with Bluey trying to set him straight!
I finally caught him this morning and went to hold him and he bit my belly! I just wanted to knock the snot out of him! He got both my legs again and my belly this time. He's in a hard molt right now so not sure if that's makin him worse or what.
I'm not even gonna be able to wear shorts this summer cuz of him - my legs looks so pathetic and nasty from bruises, cuts, sores and scars!
I know I'm the only one that can do anything bout it...I just keeping thinkin he'll get better.
Here's one of his new pencil feathers that came out in Bluey had a tussel.

My feet are still scarred from Sylv's "romantic" attentions. He even used to stamp his feet at DH if he came too near. I made sure Ferdy learned pretty quickly I wasn't a chicken sex toy the one and only time he tried to ride my neck!

I'm sure Joey's moult will be making him extra fractious and bad tempered. All of my chickens go in a blue funk (except Ferdy, he's just mildly grumpy) when they moult.

Guilty of that too! I try to eat healthy but It's a cake for goodness sake... or chocolate...or hot,buttered bread straight out of the oven...

Cake could have done with a few minutes less but it did taste good. Not too bad for a couple of bananas DH found fallen behind something else and was trying to sneak in the bin! He's terrible for best before dates etc. Getting better but after 18 years he's still a work in progress.

For the same reason, those don't get made often in my house, for my sake. AND this was dark chocolate cake, with whipped cream frosting. What's not to love? Interestingly enough, my boys or hubby do not care for cake. Freshly baked bread, however, is another story, and dangerously so for myself. I thought about baking a couple loaves today.

Aww, thanks. My award is seeing people enjoy my efforts. The whole cake was shared, and eaten or taken home. Brought in a great amount of $525 for the mission trip. I do not like to cook for picky people.

Good job! I swear there is a conspiracy in my house every time I buy bananas. I think the guys purposefully leave 3 so that it will magiclly turn into banana bread muffins. I hate to waste anything. About those best by dates. Glad he's learning. I have used a bunch of cans of stewed tomatoes a year, maybe two past the date, and they still tasted fine to me. If the can is sound, I check it out. If taste if bleh, chickens will eat almost anything. No moldy or spoiled food, though. Do they have many taste buds?
