What did you do with your flock today?

My flock of Bielefelder's were enjoying the nicer weather out there today.

Yall, I taught Gemma and Lydia a valuable lesson. .
If I throw frozen cauliflower out, the girls run to it but it's cold and they think it's just ice so they take off.when it was just them I made sure they watched me sprinkled water on it while I was filling pools. Immediately it broke up and they could eat it.Gemma and Lydia ate it. Looked at me, and then at the next frozen chunk. If Lydia saw anyone coming to investigate she just stood over it!! That is why they are my chunky chicks.lol 😂😂

Well, it is near impossible to tell so not an ignorant question. Guess I thought you were a mind reader or had a crystal ball...? 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️
They are little envelopes or money pouches. My honey wanted a w/p pouch for his motorcycle paperwork and I made additional envelopes for vendor $ collection. Just using up extra bag material 😉 I really love that you and @FBMcrazy8 are making bags ♡♡♡
I’m loving doing it! I’m just having a problem with the bottom thread bunching up. I’m trying to figure out what in the world is going on. And of course trying to figure that out online is NOT helping. I don’t know if my tension is too high or not high enough or what it is. I started another bag and I don’t want to finish it until I can get this situated. 😭

Hawkeye makes sure the girls get the treats and I always put enough out there that he can have some too. I have no problem with him getting enough food. I also have one of those 5 gallon feed buckets out there that they free feed from. I sure do love that thing and make sure that it is full whenever I know it's going to be raining or whatever the next day. That can last them a few days before I top it off again. I should check into the one's like that that they make for the water buckets too that have those cups in them.
It's easy to make one with either the cups or nipples. I made mine self-filling by installing a float shut off valve. It's so nice not to have to haul water, except when the fill pipe is frozen.

Try a monofilament thread. It works wonders! Takes a bit to get used to but it is a game changer.

That must be something to see when a male is treating another to treats.

I was just out at the coop and run trying to learn how to use this camera on this new cell phone that I have. I need to upload them into emailing them to myself before I can post them here I think.
You can insert from your phone's photo file. Click on the picture icon, click, and choose file to upload.

Only 3 eggs today. Reconnected the water pipe to their bucket. Hope we are past the freezing weather for the season. Still treating Pepper. It's a slow process. In my next life I could be a poultry vet. Are you all ready for daylight saving spring ahead this coming weekend? Lucky AZ and HI peeps don't have to change their clocks. It takes me 3 weeks for my sleep cycle to adjust properly. Have always hated this. How about you? I wouldn't mind if we stay on D.S. time forever.

Played in the garden, digging raspberries to sell, cleaning up, reducing some overgrown patches of things like oregano and crocosmia. Time to plant peas and taters!

We don't do the daylight savings time over here in Arizona. I love not having to worry about having to run around changing all the clocks in the house. The only thing that is confusing to me is trying to figure out the other time zones when they change their clocks.

Stan hatched 5th Sept 2022 and from day one Ferdy quite literally took him under his wing. I didn't worry for one minute that he'd hurt Stan and once Pru allowed Stan out of the nest, they foraged together as a little family. Ferdy was very protective of him. I think Ferdy is a very special little man, he doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body and if Stan turns out to be half the roo Ferdy is I'll be very happy. Here's a picture of the pair of them with aunt Penelope and granny Clara.
I usually just Bluetooth the photos from my phone to my tablet. Not sure how you send them to a desktop?

I love no clock changes ❤️ Hoping spring is here too. Only 8 eggs here today, was getting a dozen and having to give them away. Girls didn't like the last cold snap.
