I'm mixing, and she's eating, about 100- 120 g. of dry crumble by weight, with water. Amazing how much water it soaks up, so she seems hydrated as well. 2 for 1. I got her some black oil sunflower seeds, for dessert with her vitamins after dinner.
My dog, G.Shepherd x Rottweiler x Black Lab, when she was feeling naughty or mad, would empty out the bathroom trash can onto the floor, without tipping it over. I got Iri from the humane society and they said she's an Australian shepherd mix. She's the only dog here we got on purpose. Smartest dog I've ever owned though. But....not smart enough to not drink bleach water once years and years ago when she was young.
. She also tries to lick deodorant off you and chows down on hay with horse...her tongue likes some really weird things.

The results of your breeding are always fun to see. They are just so pretty! We had a wet and wild night, and will be under flood watch until Wednesday night. Thankfully I live on good elevation, away from water. Spent the afternoon outside staring at birds and wondering what genes they carry. Came in and played with the genetics calculator for a bit and realized I'm no where near to figuring out genes even with amazing help from people on byc
But that's ok because it sure is fun. So narrowing my focus to just figuring out which of my birds are silver or gold. I was feeling all ahead of myself this morning and getting overly ambitious with breeding plans...but a session with that genetics calculator made me realize...oops, I don't know half of what I sometimes think I've figured out

It poured last night, just great sleeping weather. AndBroody moms are beautiful along with their brood ♡ never gets old seeing them with their funny expressions first day of a hatch.
It is still raining here. Chooks are hanging out in dry places waiting for near drowning bugs to surface so they can run out and snatch them up. That, and the hope I clean my fridge out is what they are living for today. Can't say as I blame them. It is def a tea, blanket and good movie kind of day.🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧
Are these all her babies, or were there other hens' eggs under her? Chicks are so cute, no matter what. Hope she's a good mama and doesn't abandon them.
O I hope it doesn't flood on you! I'm glad you've got some elevation to help protect you. I can't imagine sea water floods do any good.

These were eggs from a friend. She has buff Orpington, Black Australorp, Silver Laced Wayndott hens, an Australorp and a Wayndott roo, so not sure what we got lol
I had a dog that licked oven cleaner off a metal rack...she was incredibly sick, but survived. And the fur on her rear end was bleached white for the rest of her life!
