Soooooo, I came back from my cruise, and apparently my son was intimidated by a broody olive egger, so he didn't get the eggs that she is setting. I really didn't want any chicks right now, but cannot sell these developing eggs. I got them and candled them, most are fertile and developing, on day 4 today. There are some smallish ones from my zombies, am hoping they will be ok, just smaller chicks. I wonder what they will look like? The dads are Mystic marans (Marans x barred rock) eggs are from leghorns, olive egger, and zombie (Ayam C x leghorn) Hatch day should be around February 27. I'll keep you posted. I just hope she's a good mom.
