Hello from the Dust Bowl down here in Texas.
My favorite hen that was hatched the first week in Jan. had her first clutch hatch. Actually it's been over the last three days. She's an Old English Game Hen Bantam I call Adania. The chick variety is from the community nest boxes I'm currently experimenting with. It's always a pleasant surprise for me to see how they come out.

I am so involved with 2 of my last hatched chicks that have spraddle legs that I forgot about the eggs. It has been too long anyway. But then, all of a sudden a little pip on a green egg. 6 hrs later, a little black mutt chicky! THIS IS ON DAY 25!!!!!
